Effective January 2023, Horizon Auto Logistics have assumed the management and operations of Accordia Shippings Rehoboth Automotive Terminal in Port Everglades, Florida. The terminal is dedicated to handling automotive and PCTC cargoes and is currently under expansion, almost doubling the capacity. Says Ignasi Sola, COO of Horizon Auto Logistics; We have always believed in Port Everglades as an automotive gateway to the south of Florida and the Caribbean and Central America. In the past we operated automotive terminals in this port, and by entering into this agreement with Accordia Shipping, we are once again in a position to offer state-of-the-art automotive terminal operations. The company will focus on inbound OEM flows to south Florida, and promoting the terminal for various automotive and heavy equipment exports to the Caribbean and Central America. It believes its operating model offering comprehensive automotive logistics solutions integrating the various supply chain segments, will provide a new perspective to the industry.
